The Meng video that Warner Bros doesn't want you to see!

I recently uploaded a couple clips from the 1998-99 series Mortal Kombat: Conquest to YouTube. This show aired immediately following Nitro during its brief run (only 22 episodes) and featured cameos by a WCW guys. I remember they hyped up Wrath's appearance back in the day, so I clipped out and uploaded that:




Then I took a look at the show's Wikipedia page and saw this:

With Conquest immediately following TNT's top-rated program, WCW Monday Nitro, WCW wrestlers Meng and Wrath filmed separate appearances. Former QVC model Dorian John played the barmaid Magda in the episodes "Twisted Truth" and "Quan Chi".

Whoa shit, not just Wrath but Meng too?! My favorite WCW monsters! So I found that episode too, clipped out Meng's part, uploaded, and... fully blocked. I don't get it. Both got Content ID'ed by Warner Bros (in fact Wrath's got ID'ed by Val Halen too) but for some reason Wrath's is visible in all regions - no restrictions - while Meng's blocked in all regions. Weird.

It doesn't happen too often, but I've had a few YT uploads get blocked outright over the years. Maybe I'll post more later.
